Understanding your Anxiety Score

Cutoff points of 5, 10, and 15 might be interpreted as representing mild, moderate, and severe levels of anxiety*.

  • Is your anxiety causing problems in your life?
  • Does it seem like you are always "overthinking" things?
  • Do you have a hard time saying "no"?

There is a thing called "high-functioning anxiety"!
Even though the word "functioning" is in that phrase, does not mean it is healthy!  If you ask the people around you, they probably have no idea that you struggle with anxiety.  Deep down, you know it creates limits in your life.  The worst thing you can tell yourself is, "so-and-so is in the same situation and they aren't struggling".  Do you know why it is unhealthy to think that way?- there is no way to actually know that.  Do you think everyone would be honest if you asked?  Everyone wants to look like they've got it together.  Regardless of their situation, focus on yourself.  Is this causing problems for you?  If yes - contact us.  We will work with you on making life more enjoyable!
